Just type in Sebring raceway. Or take 75 south to 64 east, go about 65 miles then take 17 south .4 miles to 66 east all the way to 27, then left and watch for the signs. (5100 US 27 south. G

Any 928s racing on Sunday? I thought I might try to drive up for the day. Will the famous East Coast 928 race car driver still be there on Sunday?
Hope things are going well.

Not sure who the "famous East Coast 928 race driver" is, but David Lloyd and John Veninger are from the east coast and should be there. Mark Anderson, definitely a famous west coast driver, should be there as well.

Ok..heres a small report. Mark Anderson was driving Constantines car yesterday. The car had an engine issue ( possible rod bearing) on the last lap. I believe one of the other racers also had a problem.
There were lots of 928's in attendance yesterday. We had a nice dinner at the Harborside restaurant (thanks George) and then hung out at the tiki bar by the lake. Our FL/Connecticut connection came and brought two daughters this time. She has five so theres great potential for more daughters in the future.
We all got to take 3 laps on the track after the race yesterday. I let a friend of mine drive and we weren't clear on the rules. We were one of the last cars to enter the track so the only instructions the man at the gate gave us was " drive quickly and catch up". He didn't need to worry about that. We ended up blowing past 4 cars on the back straightaway. I guess thats frowned upon. Oh well, we had fun.

Weather was great and we had a good turnout, I bet over 20 928's were there. Long friggin ride though. I have a few pics that I am waiting to download but I can not post. I can probably use my photobucket and link them though. It is truly amazng how loud a 4 or 6cyl can be, even from hundreds of feet away.

We had a total of TWENTY EIGHT 928s for the weekend including our Three Amigos Racers! Thats way up from the 15 last year or the 18 in the fall at Daytona!
WOOO HOOO!!!
John V won his sprint race on Sat. in spite of totalling his differential on the last lap! All those metal chunks was an ugly sight! Ouch! On Sunday David L won his Enduro race too!
I was briefly interviewed by a writer from Panorama right before we left late Sunday. She wanted to know about our group! Said she can't promise her stuff will go to print or not in her contribution about the race, but she'd do her part. She loved the name Sebring Shark Shiver & wrote that down. Also was interviewed Sat. afternoon by a film crew doing a CD documentary of sorts for the two PCA regions sponsoring the race.
We are starting to get some 928 exposure on a positive note from the PCA folks for sure. We were situated again as last year, on both sides of the road just over the bridge at the entrance. So any & all coming and going could not miss us. Also my wife Pamela & I had the fun of getting to "kick out" about four 911s and two Boxters who attempted to park in our reserved area. All were cool about it except one bit of an a$$ 911 owner who wanted to argue with me about it. I told him if he wanted to, he could take it up with the track officials and PCA reps who reserved the area just for us. We did end up letting others park behind us once things filled up more.
Was great that we had three 928s from Atlanta & north Georgia come down. Mike McLeod & Dr. Ed & their families are great shark people for sure. Also got to meet Greg Goodspeed all the way from Conn. who planned his Fla. vacation around our event! Great guy for sure! Glen McCarthy & his wife, from Penn., who were in state visiting relatives, drove several hours just to come visit with us! Greatly appreciated that people are making such an effort to come share Shark time with us here!
Thanks to all who made this happen. We just GOTTA get some 928 racers to live closer to us down here in Florida! Thanks to David, John & Mark for making the trek all the way from Conn., NJ & Calif. John drove 14 hours each way & slept in his truck on the way just to come & race & party with us! You gotta love the guy for that!!
I also will post lots of pics this week. Have some in series showing Mark passing a couple of 911s on the start/finish straight with Constantine's mostly stock DE 86.5!! Man can that guy can drive!
