I know that "baklava" is constructed in many layers, and may well be fire resistant. Rather sticky though. OPAAAAAH! G

No charge to enter the races. Officially, its technically not a "public" event, its a private PCA event at the Sebring track. As in meant for PCA racers, members, their crew, guests, etc.

In reality, anyone who shows up & wants in, gets in, for free. You simply have to stop and "register" at the guard gate your first time in, which is basically signing a waiver. They give you a wrist band which allows you to come & go during the weekend. The PCA & Sebring officials know of us 928ers gathering there in previous years, so there will not be any problems or issues for us attending.

Biggie the harborside restaurant is on hwy 27 in highlands county between Avon Park and Sebring. The track is about 12 miles south of us.The best way for you to get here is to to take SR 64 east from I75 to US27 in Avon Park, turn right on 27 and go south and we are 3 miles down the road on the left. You don`t need to bring anything.Call me if you need any more directions 863-452-5990.And George i have plenty of baklava and ouzo for you.OPAAAA

I just got my Feb. schedule and the Sebring weekend is free...so I'll be there!!!!!!! Sherri will drive the new addition down, she's so good at driving the silver S4 and I'll fly down and meet her. I need to get with George this week regarding reservations and if I don't need to be "team doc", then I used to crew a club sponsored 914-6 in the late 70's , and my brother-in-laws recent forrays into vintage racing with MGs and offer my humble services to any of the teams if they need it. See you there!

I'm not sure if I'll be flying solo or with the family but I'll be there either way.
Ed M, If your wife would like, we could travel together. I'm not sure yet when I am (we are) leaving but maybe we can meet somewhere along the way.
Anyone else going from the Atlanta area that would like to travel in a school of sharks?

Shark is on stands right now trying to figure out some auto trans issues. If I do not have her ready by the 10th, can I bring my other German car(87 560SL)?

Sure you can drive anything you want to. Others have come in the past without their shark. In fact, I am concerned I may not have all my intake/fuel & vacuum line issues resolved in time, I may be driving my Ford Explorer Sport Trac to Sebring!

Get busy Mel. Those new wheels won't look nearly as good on the Ford.
