There are some who hang out in OT with seemingly innocuous screen names who are *very* offensive to many people. IMHO, if you are a nice guy and an asset to the community I couldn't give a rat's a$$ what screen name you choose. I find the name you chose mildly amusing, but it seems it may not be the favorite of some native German-speaking members.

Well, I'm not offended - I just think it's vulgar, tasteless, and sends the wrong message. I hope we won't drop to that level here.

Besides, if we ever get to meet our new friend, this could lead to some strange situations:

D: "Hello, I'm Dave"
N: "Hi Dave, I'm Nicole, nice to meet you! Are you on rennlist?"
D: "Yes, I am"
N: "So what's your screen name?"
D: "Ar$chloch!"
N: "What did I do to be called that? I just wanted to know your screen name."
D: "I just told you!"
N: "No, you just insulted me!"
D: "I'm the Ar$chloch"
N: <ewww> "You are? And why would I want anything to do with someone who openly refers to himself as someone nasty who I should not trust?"
