Default Any Motor Mount news?

Any news on which motor mounts are good/better/best?

Pet shows my 83 as using the later MM, I've wandered a bit looking up while its on a lift, but not sure I even found out where they are.

Solid all the way - $30 each with hardware + shipping. Many satisfied customers. Do not forget the silicone oil pan gasket $40 + shipping - fit and forget - never see an oil pan leak again.
Do a search for the latest cutaway of the poorly designed hydraulic unit.

Rockauto solid or Contico (sic)? The old thread died without reaching a clear consensus.

Thats the "realgasket" or something like that?

I've been thinking we could really use a preferred brand sticky running down the two or three best liked options for various items.

ROG100 knows how to mount cars solidly. He knows what he's talking about.

I bought "solid" aftermarket mounts but they slosh. Go figure. Can't win. Do a search on ROG's very popular thread and read all about mounts.

Harvey,
Thanks for the solid response.
Next week I will try and talk my good friend Jim M into cutting in half a solid mount as well as a collapsed original Porsche mount - should be interesting.
I have about 50 sets of solid MM's and Real Gaskets in stock mostly for my local customers but I will ship anywhere.
Happy New Year,
Roger

Put a set of Corteco solid MM and the Real gasket on my car at Roger's house 2 months ago. The MMs made the car drive like night and day and the oil pan gasket has not leaked a drop since we put it on. The best upgrade to my car to date! Now for the Konis and tie-rods!!!
