Just mounted Andrews old set of 17 cup 2 wheels, BFG tires 225/45 & 275/40's. Strange wear pattern, fronts like new, only a trace of tread left on the rears.
Will be interesting to see how his new 18's wear, The 17's already feel better than my 16's did. mac

Actually the turbo twists don't look as gaping wide to me as other styles.
It's personal, but I don't appreciate the beauty of a lot of wheel on most all cars. It's me, but they look out of proportion IMO. Even when I watch Overhaulin', I cringe when they throw the big Foose wheels on most cars. I'm the same way when it comes to 911 SC's and Carreras-nothing over 17" looks good.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, as I'm sure I do stuff that doesn't appeal to everyone. So, Happy New Year, my gangsta brother!!!

Didn't ever really think of myself that way... but, count me as Gangsta too then
19" Porsche Carrera Classics with Michelin PS2's on my GT and love the look, feel and handling. Funny how it makes my 17" 993 Cup II's almost look too small by comparison.

H - easy fella! I get yer point, but not sure I want to be associated with the way you're trying to get yer message out there.
Rick- I hear ya! To think that 928's started with 15's! They look so goofy. I love the style wheels Porsche dressed them with, but the tires were never good for handling...big balloons. 17" was the first wheel to offer handling and good looks, but now, the 17" look like skate board wheels and do not fit the car at all.
