Anybody got a write-up on a PS rack rebuild?

Rebuilding a PS rack will set me back approx EUR 450 which is approx $ 600 I guess. How big is the chance of failure or having to do it over again when doing the job yourself? After doing the TB, WP, cylinderhead gaskets, TT, and lots of other jobs, would this perhaps be one job too far?

I've got the seals and my time is free. I will say I'm damn sick of doing the job.
I'd think a new re-builder has at least a 25% chance of needing to do it over again.

I installed a 928Intl rebuilt last year after carefully searching the forums for experiences regarding DIY rebuilds. The volume of threads relating leaks shortly after a weekend of work took the motivation out of me, and I bought the rebuilt. I hope this one works out for the best, Heinrich. Please update the thread with your experience over time.
