Thanks guys!
If I look up the numbers on PET, the -01 is a german market '83 gauge. My PET does not mention a fuel consumption gauge. If it has one, it's probably the older style one (the one that has a l/h alternative)?
Not sure about the other numbers, none of them mention a fuel consumption indicator in PET (can't find the -13 version in my 83-86 PET file).
Maybe first check how much shipping to Belgium woud be. If it is not too much of a hassle, pictures of the units would be very welcome.
But let's first see if Karsten's friend Jochen has something, shipping within the EU is probably a lot cheaper, and no customs apply.

Advanced
If the tacho has a ROW consumption gauge and it's pre-84 then it's configured to work with KJet - the CIS fuel distributor has a specific electrical connection for this gauge. I would think the operation of these KJet gauges is probably completely different to ROW 1984-on LH jet gauges.

I know there is a difference. I've seen the gauge that goes up to 18l/100km including an alternative reading in l/h only on 83 K-jet and older cars. That's why I'm looking for the gauge going up to 25l/100km, which I've seen only on Euro S2's LH-jet (84-86).
I've never seen any fuel consumption gauge on the S4 (at least those without the digital instruments, pre 89), so I'm pretty convinced this is the version for me.

Uh, €2800 is for the whole instrument cluster I suppose?
@Mark Anderson could you check the units you have and take a photo of the l/100km unit?
Could you also check how much shipping to Belgium would be?
I'd have to look up the extra costs for importing goods. The customs office will need some cash and the government will also charge a sales tax..

I'm afraid it's the wrong version for me. For what I understand, this one fits the older -83 K-Jetronic systems. I have an 84 LH-Jetronic.
But thanks anyway. I'll keep looking. If anyone has something lying around..

I know, it's just a gimmick, and not very accurate. Even if it was, you still can't read a precise value on it. I just think it looks cool on a 40y old overcomplicated top-of-the-line GT.
If I can install one without breaking the bank, I'll do so, otherwise, I'll just keep enjoying the car without.
