Is that the stock light position for your model year?

My under hood light is on the left of the hood, as you look at the car from the front.

Sharp eyes. Yes that's a TR3. This past summer, thanks to Chaadster, we took a tour of the Points and Condensor Unit Preservation Society. I have a video of it up on Google Video.

Yes, this is the stock location. I believe this chaged in 90 or 91.

Thx Andrew.......makes more sense having a more central location.

If your TR3 still has the P & C ignition (wow, that takes me back) you may want to look at a Boyer electronic version.............they make 'modern' ignition systems for many older Brit cars and m/cycles.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression. That's not my TR3. I used to have a 66 E-type, and my neighbor has a TR4 Surrey(sp?) Top that I helped restore.
