Default 5 speed conversion trans wiring help

Getting close to completing the 5 speed conversion on the 1986.5 track car. At this point was wondering if anyone can show/tell me what wires need to be jumpered in the rear wiring harness in the spare wheel well. The wiring harness for the 5 speed trans harness only has two wires from the trans. The Auto wiring harness has more. Pics appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Constantine

Constantine,

The speedometer sensor should be the same, so that is an easy hookup. The other two wire on the manual transmission are for backup lights. I'll have to take a look at the wiring diagram to see which two are needed to activate the lights.

Thanks John! I will look at the wiring diagrams too to find out about the back up lights, but I heard you need to jumper a couple wires together to start the car. I also remember when I was doing all the tests for the new TBF fix clamp I tried to start the car with the trans out at one point and it would not start.

See you soon,
Constantine
