I bought one from DC Auto, and I think I damaged it trying to install it, it won't slide now. Mechanic ordered one, but I know no one stocks them.

Does anyone have an old 3spd trans laying around with a cable that you can sell me. After 3 weeks of jerking me around, the mechanic (suggested by rennlisters) FINALLY admitted they JUST started working on it.

If anyone has a cable, I'd be greatly appreciative.

I got mine from 928intl. My old one is 'stiff' and had a ratcheting sound when used so I do not think it will do you any good.

The big 3 are all out of stock.

Oh yeah, all the dealers are out of them as well. DC Auto seems to have one, but if anyone in CA has a used one (Jim Bailey?) .

I can send you my old one if you want to try it. It did work, just didn't seem right though. If 928intl. cannot help give me a shout.

P'ville is 50 miles south of Fresno and about 45 mile north Bakersfield. ( I actually live closer to Poplar/Woodville) If rixter cannot help let me know.

Joe Joe, It doesn't look good. I will paypal you money to overnight it to me. I'll give it some wd-40 and cross my fingers. I'm going to switch to a 4spd auto trans as soon as I find one in my area anyway, so this part doesn't have to last for years. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. I will pm you as well.
