Talking Hollow spoke wheels to trade

I am new to this and my 928S4 has 18 inch genuine Porsche hollow spoke wheels with Porsche end caps.

I do not like them at all. Don't ask me why, I just don't, sort of like asking me why I don't like 911s.....I just don't know why I don't, maybe because I have always, ALWAYS been inlove with the 928(s) of the world.

Well anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to trade these 18 inch wheels and tires (Pirelli all around) for some nice black wheels and tires in 17 inch.

Thanks,
Paul G

I assume the hollow spokes are the turbo twists?

That is what the fellow that I bought the 928S4 said they were, Hollow Spoke Turbo Twist.

Paul, Caster944 has a set of 17" black cup 2's for sale that would fit your bill nicely. You could then just sell your hollow spokes and probably make a couple hundred on the deal. PM him or let me know and I can get you in touch with him.

I have for sale a set of 993 Porsche OEM Cup II wheels off of a narrow body 993, painted with black wheel paint by a local shop. The rims are 17x7 fronts, offset 55, and 17x9 rears, offset 70 mm. They are currently mounted on my 1988 951, and will fit late offset 944s or 968s with a 21mm hubcentric spacer in the rear. Wheels are straight and true, and in great shape. There are a few small chips/scratches, but no rash whatsoever.

I am asking $1100 shipped including hubcentric spacers. Tires will be removed prior to shipping. Local pickup is available near Columbus, Ohio. I am open to offers. Thanks!

My brother is looking for a set of 18" hollow's for his 993, if these are the 993 "Technology" part no. 993 362 136 00 (front; 8x18 ET52) & 993 362 140 00 (rear; 10x18 ET40) then he could be interested to buy them. Please contact me by PM or email.

Paul,
I have a set of ten spoke wheels for sale with new rubber for $1300.
Have a look at Ed's post to see what they are like as he has just fitted then to his S4.
You can see them on Saturday.
