Default 8 page ORR article coming soon in a Swedish car magazine. Lots of 928 material.

I have written an article for a Swedish car magazine about ORR and my own experiences in Nevada. It has been sent to print now and although I am unsure of which pictures they are using I can assure you that there is plenty of 928 material.

Release date is Dec. 8 and I am wondering if there are any of you 928 afficionados who would like to have a copy? I will work out a special deal to Rennlist members since I have learned so much from you guys!

Special thanks to Nicole, George Suennen, Bill Ball, Tim & Cheryl Dey, Marc and Susan Thomas and Richard Sanders who are some of the 928-people who has made my Open Road Racing experience something to remember and keep doing for the rest of my life.

Lots of interest it seems!

Is there anyone who would be willing to act as a middle man when it comes to shipping within NA?

Btw, it is all in Swedish but I am willing to translate.

The original material was ~7000 words but I believe that it has been cut down to about half of that to fit.

The cars that I have written about are:

Roland Roths 993 Ruf turbo
Bill ***** 928
T&C's Beast
Richard Hillies 222 mph Camaro
and more..

Maybe you could re-write it in english and post a link here. Then you could get it printed in an english magazine as well. I know thats probably easier said than done. Just a thought.

Congrats on being published.

I would like to do that, but I don't think I'll get any future gigs if I make an article they paid me for available for download...

Translation is a task that will take a few hours without losing the quality of the text. I'll see what I can do but no promises as of now.

Would it be good if we were to all contact the publisher to buy a copy? They would think you're the new Walt Whitman or something! Who do we contact?

It is easiest if you go through me, I have already contacted them about buying a bunch of copies to send to the US. Shipping them individually is probably a lot more then me sending a box over and someone in the US to mail them once they are in the country.
