Talking Just got my Robert Budd Alacantara Pod!!

Wah wah wee wah!

It is beautiful, Robert your work is amazing. It's going to look really great. I'm doing some trim pieces in red along with the recoloring of the rest of the leather to cork. I'm leaving the original brown carpets intact, as they are in really great shape.

What, no pics? You get a time out until you have pics to share.

Beverly Hills? Was that your black GTS I saw the last two times I was in that area? Last December & this past February.

No, my car is grand prix white vintage. '81. It hasn't seen the road since early Sep. I've seen everything but another 928 in Bev Hills. What's yours?

I will take some today with a camera phone. Of course it's not installed, I don't even have the car with me, it's at the shop getting that darn transmission cable installed and fuel filter as well.

The pod is black.

It's Alices Resturaunt
This was the part I think where the cop hauled them into court for dumping trash:

"We walked in, sat down, Obie came in with the twenty seven eight-by-ten
colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back
of each one, sat down. Man came in said, "All rise." We all stood up,
and Obie stood up with the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy
pictures, and the judge walked in sat down with a seeing eye dog, and he
sat down, we sat down. Obie looked at the seeing eye dog, and then at the
twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows
and a paragraph on the back of each one, and looked at the seeing eye dog.
And then at twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles
and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one and began to cry,
'cause Obie came to the realization that it was a typical case of American
blind justice, and there wasn't nothing he could do about it, and the
judge wasn't going to look at the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy
pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each
one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against us. And
we was fined $50 and had to pick up the garbage in the snow, but thats not
what I came to tell you about.

Came to talk about the draft.....
"

And yea! Where's the photographic evidence

Those pics Rob posted give me no idea of the material used or quality of work (not enough light? not enough contrast?), just a black pod. Is this a problem for anyone else, or is it a problem with my video settings?

I've seen Rob's pods and dashes in person. Fantastic! He can tell you more, but the leather is the same stuff Porsche itself uses. The quality of the workmanship looks damn professional.
