Default New Leather

The old boy has returned from Dearborn, where he had been getting new leather at the hands of Rob Budd:

1. dash
2. pod
3. front seats
4. door panels

I am celebrating the new leather by playing Judas Priest music exclusively this weekend. Well, not really.

He also coordinated the installation of a new windsield, Jager white LED instrument lights, and hood liner. Last, but not least, he repaired the sunroof.

Just a few pix of his handiwork.

Thanks to Hacker as well for helping with the acquisition of new (original type) wheels. A friend of his had a set that had been brushed and clearcoated. They make quite a difference too.

Now if I can ask some of you CA or FLA folks to send some weather...

That looks awesome!!!

Just came back from meeting Rob in San Carlos. Very nice guy, and very nice work he does!

I'm thinking of having him redo my luggage cover in alcantara. Providing I can afford it...

Nicole, can he match your pink interior?

Saw some of Robs work in San Carlos today -- really outstanding. Gotta save a few pennies...

Looks very nice, how about a couple more picts farther back so I can see more of the pod and dash together?

Gerry: Rob has simply referred to the interior color as navy blue.
Erik: Please let me know if December 9 is going to happen. Love to see you and Lorelei. BTW, we just saw Casino Royale this evening and thought it was great.
Fabio: Your avatar has brought to mind another great place for leather...
Nicole: I'm guessing you and Rob hooked up at the airport okay. I'm sure he'll be happy to tend to the luggage cover.

I'll post a coupla more pix.
