No affiliation, but I have spoke to the owner (Larry) and Scott and Susan at DEVEK. I was thinking about a short term investment, but I'm not sure I'll have time to fly out.

Sounds like DEVEK has serviced this Shark for the past 2 owners. They did several "big ticket" items within the past year It's currently being shown at DEVEK.

Sounds like the price is neg., so it might be a good deal for someone.

Price seems too good to be true, unless the owner is very motivated to sell (or it has issues). If I were in the market, I would be all over this one.

So far, it seems only the AC isn't cold. Scott at DEVEK shows Cam Cover Seals, T-Belt/WP, Rear Main Seal, etc were done within a year, and Larry hasn't put hardly any miles on since.

 

It just may reflect local market conditions, but its sure looking like a hockey puck dropped on the ice once mentioned here.

And I paid 5,000 for my '81.

 

I just called and spoke to the owner (last night) he was a very pleasant person and obviously cared for the car very carefully. He has spent alot of $$$ on maintenance over the 4-5years he has owned it. He has several new cars which forces the sale of the 928.

He told me that the car is at DEVEK and he has a few people interested and it might be sold, he told me that by Mondya he would know for sure.
