What was the sticker price back in 1987 and what was it equal to in other car values

Road and Track's test car (an early '87 judging by the lack of reinforcing ribs on the intake) had a base price of $58.9K, and a price as tested of $62,261 with heated memory seats, alarm, and guzzler tax.

Mine was $66,000 and change, have the original sticker. That was a lot of car $ back then.

not trying to hijack the thead, but instead of creating a new one...

I remember reading through a bunch of window sticker threads, including the 'make your own' from Andrew (IIRC). I now have an '89 in place of an 86.5 and can't find an '89 windows sticker. Anyone have one or a link to one that they could share? Even an MSRP would be good for an S4 auto.

The window sticker for my 87 was almost 65,000.

Mine was $55,400 for my 86.5, HD AC option, 5speed option. (I have the sticker)

Andrews "do it yourself" program works GREAT......I made mine that way....& it was accepted as original by concours judges (I told them it was a laminated photocopy)....
