Default Finally Done! (for now) Pics of My Restored OB

After three and a half years of blood, sweat and tears, my restore project is close TO COMPLETE. Just a few "punch list" items to wrap up. I've attached some pics -- some may be blurry because my digital is acting up.

Very nice job, was the carpet on the tunnel in between the front seats factory or did you remove the compartment?

The 78's and 79's did not come with the cassette box/arm rest. Carpet between the seats was factory.

Definately. A very nice example.

Hey, Scott, how do we know you didn't just buy it this way yesterday?

Actually, I'm just seconding the motion for before and during photos. It's a beauty now!

I do have some before pics and I'll post as soon as I can re-size etc. But for now, Jim B. can vouch for me.

Color is kiln red. The wheels are a one-off titanium'ish color. I got the idea from Gerg Grey and mixed a Mercedes color "Astral Silver" with black tint.

Can you guys pick out the other subtle custom touches?

Paul,

Very hard work, but I enjoyed every minute (well not every minute) The interior pics are kind of dim, but the leather pod you provided adds alot to the interior.

Chuck,

I sould be ready for next year's 3rd Coast Gathering.

I'm very proud to have a little part of such a brilliant example.

Looking forward to seeing it in person
