Default Chrome 928 on ebay

Since making the largest mistake I have made in a while (selling my mint low mile 86.5 5 Speed 928 ) I have been looking for my next 928. Saw this one on ebay this morning and wanted to share. Not my taste but thought it was interesting.

I think it may look better with silver wheels. Of course I have never been a fan of black wheels, even on the Lotus'.

Bill,

I'm with you. I'm sure it looked cool inside his head when he imagined it, but then after the paint job he was probably not happy with it.

I have no idea what you'd have to do with that to make it look nice. It's a shame.

Wow, I bet that does look cool in person, the exterior color, I mean. The yellow is not my favorite interior, but it looks like a first-class upholstery job.

I like it. Reminds me of a DeLorean. Needs polished wheels. Certainly unique!

Looks like the chrome is not very chromey.

Seller describes it as a "rough chrome" finish, so I gather it is not supposed to look like actual chrome per se.

It's cool! I'm not a big fan of PD wheels and typically an all black wheel that can't be distuingished from the tire looks a little weird, but this surrealistic chrome job pulls it off well.

Anyone know why he carries his front plate in the tray?

I would see some potential in it if it was chrome plated instead of chome painted.
