Runroof Swap?
I have seen a bunch on sunroof deletes on here but was wondering if anyone had replaced the sunroof with a simple pane of glass that tilts manually. I know it is cheap kind of thing to do, but it lets fresh air in and some sunlight as well.

could be done fairly easily, I havent seen it performed though, you would need to get a non sunroof headliner and remove some of the interior material from it and the chassis.

I made a joke about a moonroof from Wallys Camper World, but it isn't far off from what "might" be in practice possible to do. Ignoring the screams from purists, the issues would be leaking (water retention), how it looks, noise (wind noise from messing with the air flow), how hard it is to install, opening and closing, and what it costs. Oh, and meeting safety standards of sanctioning bodies etc.
I also pondered how the factory sunroof might be converted to permanently closed with as much headroom recovered as possible.
So far what I have found is that a replacement non sunroof roof panel is about $400 and the book labor is about 20 hours to replace.
