Oh yeah... When I was into high power rocketry, I carried all my rockets and support equipment including: electronic igniters, ammonium perchlorate reloads, 4f gunpowder for ejection and electronics for flight data gathering in my shark.

The shark was sort of a rolling bomb

9/11 changed all that

Now that I think about it. 928 contents for every Road America weekend:
Two 10x10 EZUps
Two full size coolers
X-tra large Pelican hard case (laptop)
Medium Pelican hard case (camera equipment)
Tri-pod
Mono-Pod
Two medium sized suitcases
Wife
Dog (not sure if this counts since he was on the wife's lap)
Two grocery bags full of shoes (4 day weekend - why she needs this many......?)
Two other bags full of "her" stuff
Two cases of beer that did not fit in the coolers
Bag of misc booze that did not fit in the coolers
Road trip munchies

H-P... yes, the pooch counts - took up volume in cabin.

Now, I suppose you wore what you had on and the 2 suitcases
were the outfits she needed for the shoes. (that's how it is
in my shark on a road trip).

G'luck.

142 just before Turn 1

I pack all my tools and stuff to the track. Tires go in the support vehicle. (i.e. wife's car)

I picked-up a matching piece of carpet at K-Mart and cut it to shape for the deck area. Pretty dirty now but saved the piece from the formerly-new carpet kit from that fate.

Oh yea, I forgot. Small leather Porsche duffle bag for my clothes. The two suitcases were her outfits.

At least when I take the track car, she can hang stuff on the roll bar!!

Default ~4000 lbs

Back in the late 90s, I used my track-prepared '82 to haul another 928 on a car dolly. The guys that rented the car dolly (U-Haul) almost refused to rent it to me. I just welded up a hefty hitch and had no issues during the 250 mile trip. I did get a lot of strange looks, and I *really* wish I'd have taken a picture of that - but at the time it just didn't seem that weird to me. Track 928 hauling a DP-bodied 928 with 335s on the back, and stuffed with tools, luggage, etc. In retrospect, I guess it was odd.
