It has been either for sale in mobile.de for ages or come out again after short while.

There is this years record Euro asking price I think in mobile also. This is second oak green metallic GTS from Berlin and look like somewhat cheaper version of Utah car.

Awesome!

I can even see airbrushing a galloping, white unicorn across the lower door panels...!

Those Boxster wheels gotta go, however.

This car is in really rough shape. When it first appeared for sale (~2 years ago - b/f I bought the black GTS) I inquired about it. The dealer sent me higher resolution pictures that showed how rough it really is. I'll see if I can find them and post a couple.

Love the color - but not the price.

Then there's the whole hassle of importing it.

A local woman owns a 968 Cab in this exact color. It gets a lot of attention but to be honest it would be tough to live with. Unique yes but hard to live with.

I would just hold onto that beautiful Venetian Blue S4 and give it time. I love unique colors but it looks like Barney purple in real life and although very rare it is not a metallic paint like Pearlglands. It its also very flat in the light.

I love the color and could live with it. Anthony, was the 968 you mention for sale a few months ago? There was a 968 cab this color on autotrader and I sent several emails and received no response.

Chuck,

The car is owned by a local woman. I do not believe she is selling it but I might be wrong. AFAIK this is the only US 968 Cab in this color. The car was originally owned by David E Davis. Of Automobile Magazine fame. Here is a picture of him in front of the car. The lighting is off but it is the same color.

One complaint I know she has about her 968 in that color is it is very hard to keep looking good. She Concours the car and no matter how much work she puts into it the paint always looks off IMO.

That would be a serious tragedy. This car is a piece of art and needs something sophisticated, like maybe a viking warrior standing with sword held high and naked blond women clutching his legs. Oh, and a wolf somewhere.

Don't worry - it's not going anywhere. I've had it for a little over 9 years and can't imagine getting rid of it.

But adding another to the stable is a different matter! My daughter wants the next one to be a 911 - especially one like the '89 Carrera I had a few years back. That car was Velvet Red Metallic with a Dark Gray interior. I only know of 2 others with that color combination.
