She has had the car for 2 years +/-. I believe she is the second or third owner. She actually lives in the same town as I. If you change your mind, I talk to her once or so a month and can ask her if she is thinking of selling it. She also has a metallic purple 968 coupe not in as good condition she uses for autoX. Both cars are tiptronic. I think she nick named the car the Grape ape as in the old Cartoon.
I agree that when I first saw the color I too really liked it. It is unique and grabs a lot of attention the first time you see it. Some colors garb your attention and every time you see it you say WOW. This color, and I am not the only one who says it, gets a big WOW the first time you see it and after time people start to pass it by and say nice instead of WOW. Very purple. Even my wife who is a big purple fan feels it can be a bit much.
I guess my biggest problem is that it is a non metallic color. On newer cars (post 1975) other than red, black, yellow or white I like colors to be in a Metallic myself. I think the GTS would get a great response the first time anyone saw it but to me I would rather have Wimbledon Green or Tahoe or Cobalt anything that plays with the light over a deep color like this. There is just no depth to a paint like this. Too each his own, as they say. Just my .02.
