Let enough money rain on me so I can buy this baby:

I sooo would love to park this next to the Hooked-On-Cars-Mobile. Blue interior - awesome. Blue exterior - even better. Just how I would have ordered it at the time.
Oh well, at least it has some flaws, so I don't feel quite that bad. Actually, with these flaws I'm not sure I'd pay the minimum bid. But that's a moot point anyway...

It's rather confusing. The lister has it as Gray Metallic, some of the last pictures look grey, and most of the others look blue. 928 Reigistry has it listed as Iris Blue Metallic.

Ah...that color. I don't think there's mis representation about the color, it's just that you have to look really hard to figure out that there's some blue to it and the camera and lighting may be a problem when shot under poor conditions like that car, mid day sun, freaky shading. I nearly bought an 85 with that color combo, it's very tempting.

Hahaha - it's not a matter of interest - it's a matter or money and space, Stan! I'd love to have a shark sanctuary - but who's going to pay for it?
The reason I find that 83 interesting is because it's a 2-valver (less complex, but fast enough) that already has the 4speed auto and the best color combo of the time. And it would be a nice contrast to the one I already have.
But again: I'm just dreaming...

I saw that too on ebay. It looks really nice, but I'm not all that crazy about the repainted wheels (the lug nuts are painted silver). They should have atleast taken the time to tape the lug nuts. Makes me wonder what other visual enhancements have been don to the car. Either way, a very nice ride for who ever buys it.
