FBIII,
What do you mean 'w/o a chin' that's what the oil pan is for .

What were they thinking with the front of the pan sticking out there like that?

I need to figure out what to do up front that will look good and be able to clear the driveways in my town without grinding plastic or worse .

I think the headlight beam pattern will be clipped quite a bit with the lights so far back in those tunnels. No side fill.

It looks pretty cool...

I tend to like some of their other designs, because I like that they work *with* the 928's curvey lines, instead of trying to make the car all angular, like a Ferarri. This one has a bit of that angular feeling. I like the front end, it looks cool, but it looks a little out of place with the rest of the 928. That's my complaint with a lot of the body kits out there. It's not that they don't look cool. They do. But they don't quite blend right with the stock look of the 928. The stock look is very smooth, and very rounded. The blue car that was posted looks a lot more integrated with the stock lines. But this one is pretty cool, I have to admit. But I suppose if you want a Ferarri, you should just buy one...

Most of these things I would only seriously consider if a tree fell on my car. When I see one on a car I generally assume that is what happened to them.

I forget which car I owned had it, but one of them used a rubber air dam set back a bit from the front so it could be both low and undamaged by regular bonking.

I can't get my head around those sideview mirrors. It looks Pontiac and cheap. Kills the body lines. And those headlights........

In this view, it's very ungainly. Looks like someone chewing with their mouth open.

ewww!

with the standard headlights, its like two faces morphed in to one, but not totally. its got two faces now. looks like a 928 trying to be a ferarri 360.

someone photoshop the ferarri 360 modina lights, and i bet the new 928 version with new bumper and lights will look like a kit car version of a 360

Most likely those mirrors will also increase wind noise. There ARE reasons why many European manufacturers mount their mirrors away from the body; BMW even has a dimpled area on the body side of some of its mirrors to calm the air...

The whole kit is on ebay.

Looks like a 928 raped an Opel GT...
