How is Walt Konecny?

Yea...I miss Walt's comments and wry sense of humor. He knows a lot about 928s and politics and things that go "bang!" and is still flying high (sometimes the 928 isn't fast enough and he has to crawl into an airplane). With as many 928s as he's owned, he knows the good, the bad, and the ugly (and isn't afraid to tell the gory details that would send wimps running). He sent me some good auto advice via email not long ago but I must have overwhelmed him with my L-O-N-G response or it got caught in his Spam Trap. I hope it was the latter. Like most, I've never met him but I think I know him. I like him. He's genuine.
Did you ever read Elmer Keith's book, "Hell, I was there!"? Elmer lived in Salmon, Idaho 'till he passed over to the land of heavenly .44 Magnums. Hope he's not packing heat. I wish I had a video of Walt and Elmer talking. It'd be a great seller.

Heard from a reliable source that Walt's good.
Have a healthy aversion to this forum.
Has been distracted by something so haven't replaced the Hayabusa.
And I never posted this.

He is John Galt's evil stepbrother. Both sons to Mary Galt-Konecny.

Walt is well. How couldn't he be? He continually travels and purposely never tells me when he is in socal so that we continue our 10 year tradition of speaking but never meeting.

As a Democrat, I think "Walt should be required to check in regularly, so that the best of us - those who caaaaaarrre - won't be forced to worry." Legislation will work as long as there's a large enough agency to enforce compliance. ;-)
As a liberal lawyer, I think those of us who care have a class action to make us whole after the emotional distress we've suffered. ;-)
As a Republican, I think "I've never met Walt, so why should I care? Is he gay or against the troops or something?" ;-)
As a conservative lawyer, I think Walt has a cause of action against those who have invaded his privacy. ;-)
As a Libertarian, I think Walt has a right to use force to defend himself against those who have invaded his privacy by asking after him. ;-)
As a libertarian lawyer, even non-practicing, I often find myself trapped in a fog of cognitive dissonance. ;-)
Oh well, tanstaafl. Hi Walt, hope you're good.

Man, that's a name I haven't heard for some time....since the mail list...or whatever that was called.
Glad to hear that he fared well after a scrape with a Hayabusa. Hopefully the bike didn't make it, because that's a horse you don't want to get back on (if you care about life and limb)
