A lot safer than being under a car on Jack Stands.
Roger (or anyone else who has one),
I'd like to see more on how you lift you shark off it's wheels once it's up on that lift. Do you use a normal jack and jackstands on the normal jack points?

Yes exactly that. I use large planks of wood to spread the load of the jack stands.
I also use a bridge that fits across the ramps. If you go to the webpage in the first post it shows you the bridge under options.
I personnaly prefer to either jack up the front of the car or the rear, not both together.
Just being carefull.
I have jacked up the complete car, however I find that I need to do that infrequently.

What about making the jump to one of the lifts that lets you park two cars in the same space?

HA HA

So Roger you think using EFI clamps is a bad idea too then huh!

as for the clamps i suppose they are fine, but if i could afford to replace with a proper fitting like the porsche one i certianly would. EFI clamps only in an emergency.

I would love to have a lift that lets me park two cars. That would mean I would have the roof clearance to do it. I do not so I have a Quicklift.

Ryan,
Back to the fuel hose issue - I will post some pics of the hose (on that thread) I just took apart and it is not as safe as we think.

Roger,

I would love to know what you found out about the FI hose good or bad. Please keep us all up to date.

My garage has a 20 foot ceiling, so the idea is a bit tempting to me. $2.5k and a car goes from driveway to garage parking. Sure would make me paranoid about drips.

Most 4 post lifts have drip trays which slide between the rails and catch any drips.
