Burning rubber is one thing.... but it seems that kids these days like to ride the revlimiter. That's more what I was referring to... Also, there's what -- maybe 10 of these in the world?

Looking at the huge fenderwells under the hood....this thing would take some seriously wide tires!! It would make one interesting track car!!

Ryan, I just had a look at the VW specs - 2578mm wheelbase v 928 2500mm. So, maybe no need to shorten the TT, 'simply' mount the engine 78mm further back, with respect to the front wheel / engine location. Easy, compared with widening the whole car!!

Previous owner of my GTS bought it to install engine and drivetrain into his 4.5L automatic Artz (in above picture) as it had some drivetrain problems. GTS engine problems were too tough for him and thus I have it. Later he had black manual GTS for sale in Mobile.de. Don't know what parts are in Golf now and if it runs.
