Excellent work. I would guess that all early cars with the leather dash have problems with the leather pulling away from the defroster vents. Mine does. My solution was to remove the vent covers and fill in the gap with leather and putty. Looks better than it did, but your solution is much better.

Gosh Darn it...Pauls work is so nice...I don't know what to do. My new Sharkie is close to perfect, but these leather options are great....I want the steering wheel, shifter, console lid, arm rests, which mean I need new leather door inserts, pod, dash, center console...etc.... and mine are in A-1 shape, except all are vinyl except the steering wheel, which almost looks new, vinyl yuck!!! Then you start with that, then the carpet which is okay needs to be changed to look really good...what a can of worms! AAAAAAHHHH!

Carl- I'm one of the few people who have a 928 with an original leather dash that is in decent condition. But I have to say....what you've produced is a fantastic product- that dash is far better than the near-perfect stock dash in my '85. IMHO, you should be right up there with 928 International, 928 Specialists, Devek, 928 Motorsports, and John Speake! Good show!
