Default S brake rotors and pads

I need new rotors and pads. I've been looking at the Zimmerman rotors. I've found cast hole rears, but only solid slotted fronts. Are there cast hole front S rotors?

I have no clue what pads to buy. I don't like cleaning brake dust and I don't like sqealing brakes. I may do a few DEs, but the vast majority of the use will be on the street (mostly highways and mountain country roads). I recall Gary Knox recommending Proformance 97? or something like that. I quickly checked the usual sources for 928 parts and didn't see them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I need to buy this week to install within the next week and a half.

There are no cast hole fronts available for the "S" brakes. But the slots do just fine. For pads I used Hawk Blue pads which are a street/DE type pad. I never had a problem with squeeling brakes with this combo.

I am in the same boat. Why can they not make cross drilled rotors for the 'S'. I just like the look of the cross drilled rotors, even if it not the best solution. What's up with that?

I guess non-holed rotors it is. Any other pad suggestions?

Rotors I have not seen with holes Matt. The gas slotted ones are what I usually find.

I got this email from a very helpful gentleman at performance friction:
Brendan,
OG Racing has both front and rear available in 97 compound ready to ship.
The front is 0395.97.20.44
The rear is 0252.97.18.44 (I confirmed it is the same as the photo you sent) OG Racing's telephone # is 1-800-934-9112 ask for Jason at ext.15

If you have any trouble let me know.

Best regards,

They seem to be very serious pads, and will need Zimmerman or better for the rotors to survive. Someone in a 911 thread mentioned coleman rotors as being destroyed by these pads I mentioned above in a weekend? I can't recall the xact issues, but he called Coleman and they said no way when they saw the pad description, or they simply knew about the pad.

I think the 82-86 rotors and caliper combinations are very very good for most uses, I just never found a really strong pad - until I got this info above.
