Default Sponsorship Active and New Site is Up. THANKS!

I want to thank everyone for making this possible. The success of The 928 Leather Shop over the last several months has been overwhelming.
Without the support of Rennlist members and determination on my part might have ended up as just another unemployed OWL in the Motor City.
My sincere thanks to Tim, Alan, Marc, Greg, Vic, Robby, Mike, Rich, Michael, Rob, Robert, Jay, Ray, Sean, Ed, John, Dan, and the many others who made it possible.

Using Rennlist as a starting reference I was able to foster relationships with other on line communities, clubs for other marques and individuals around the globe including France, Australia, Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia, UK, Austria, Canada, Italy, Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, Germany, Belgium, and Spain, just to name the ones I can remember.

I now spend my time working on sharks, meet with other shark owners, going to car shows, and spending time with other "car guys" all involved with restoring and preserving great classic automobiles.

I could go on about my good fortune but one point of this post is to say the site, The 928 Leather Shop , is up and running.
There's some pictures of completed work and our shop and each item has a photo.
You can order and pay by credit card.
Much of the stuff is on eBay, however I'm going thru and reducing the prices on the site to allow for the Ebay fees.
If you want to pay by check. contact me.
You do not need Paypal.
I'll be adding some more items as they become available and a "Garage Sale" page for some 928 parts and stuff people ordered and haven't paid for.

My thanks again to everyone on Rennlist.

The women...how much for the women?!

That site looks great. If I need any leather work done I'll be calling. Good luck with the website.

Rob,

You've got some nerve running a company specializing in imports out of Michigan. Good luck!

Somebody has to do something to help Michigan's economy. We've been waiting for the state administration and the former "Big Three" to get with the program for some time now.
With the highest unemployment rate and the least educated work force in the country, Michigan is not doing well.
As it is, I've got a couple retired UAW folk working on some of my stuff. Those guys do not come cheap.

Congrats, Rob!

The dash and pod are still on my agenda! Hopefully over the winter.

No. That's Remon's shop. He's the one that spent 15 years doing interior work for Lear. That's where the covers are designed, cut, sewn, etc. I still do the hood liners, dash repairs and covering at my place.

I finished installing my hood liner with the Porsche crest & 928 lettering in silver this past weekend & it looks great! I appreciate you doing the 928 lettering in the porsche font, it was the perfect touch. I'll try to post a pic later.
THANKS for everything & Good Luck Rob!

This is my shop. What I call the meat locker because I'll eventually have all those dashes that are waiting for covers hanging from the ceiling to save some space.

Here's a pic of mine I just installed..... with the cut out for the factory label, the 928 lettering fits just perfect to remind anyone looking at the engine, exactly what Porsche they are viewing!

Nice site Rob,

continued success to you.

I do have one request though, the only detail picture of a pod you show is of the pod I made for Rich, would you mind putting a note on it.

Thanks

Paul
