Default Steering Wheel Choices

What steering wheels are available for a pre-airbag 928?

I know that I was able to put a 3 spoke sport wheel w/ airbag on my 993, so I was wondering what the options are for a 928. If a 88 does not have an airbag, then it is probably less expensive than the airbag ones....

So does anyone have pictures of different steering wheels on their own 928's or could you direct me to a site that may have some choices?

I suggest you do a search here on this forum for "steering wheel" - We've had many discussions on this topic before, and you might find some interesting info on what's already been done...

Found at 928 Specialists website a RS Sport and or Sport steering wheels, both look pretty cool, although a colored crest on the regular sport would look even better (IMHO).

Bill,

That looks cool. I like what you did with the Porche button and the aluminum ring. Sporty, but still very classy.

Thanks Nicole, Bill and Ryan.

I 'll have to admit that I would have to go with the Momo Bill did if I could get the Porsche horn button. That is great looking, sporty, and really updates the look of the car interior.

I know about the 930 wheel, but I really like the Momo Club 4...if i can get the horn button! I will have to check into that.

Mucho gracias!

Tried about 5 sites and could not locate a Momo Club 4 wheel. I did find the Porsche horn buttons....and I thought that would be the hard part.

Let me know if anyone finds this wheel.

There is always the option of restoring the original:

Black leather with red stitching

Black leather with silver stitching

The addition of a color metal crest is an option and I can match any color for your interior.

If you find a used wheel of any type that needs some work, I can help.

Well, it looks like the Momo Club 4 has been discontinued. Sorry about that. The 930S wheel is super nice.

Check out the thread "928 SuperShark flares finished" and look at the Dino wheel I have. It is a great mix between the 930 wheel and the momo. I looked forever to find a wheel that looks like it belongs in a shark.

I like the 930S wheel too.......pricey, but has a great feel to it & looks really good......of course keeping the stock wheel and having Paul refinish it is a good idea too.....
