Cool color. What's the serial number (last four digits of the VIN)?

Repainted? (Bumper plugs should be black.)
Window and door lock trim should be chrome on '78?
Bumped under the front bumper - radiator support and g(r)ills point up?

Out of 33 '78 MY cars listed in Chuck's registry only 2 are automatics. So its automatic that is actually rare in first year cars.

Last four digits: 0885.

I don't think it was repainted, though I guess it is possible that some parts of it were. There is no difference in colour on the panels, so if it was repainted it was done very well. Only paint flaws are some pitting on mirrors and the rear right quarter panel was touched up at some point (though you have to look at it closely in bright light to see it).

The two rear side windows have chrome trim (not obvious in picture). Don't know about door lock trim. Replaced at some point perhaps?

No damage under front bumper.

That is a nice looking car and the price is pretty darn good as well. I hope he gets it. It looks like leather seats...

Welcome: My 78" is at the opposite end of the food chain, so I understand how difficult it is to keep a 78' in that condition.

Thanks for the compliments. I'd like to keep it but I have three other cars and a non infinite amount of garage space and money. Another $1k or so to recover the dash and the front seats and this car would be a total peach inside and out.

I'll get some interior pictures this weekend.

Default **** carpet, baby!

Some interior pictures.

As can be seen, pretty nice except for some loss of shape on seat of front seats. And a few crack on the front dash part, which I forgot to picture.
