Somebody in our area has a 328 Ferrari and a 928 GT with a stroker engine. He says The Ferrari is half the 928 in many respects.

I had the privilege of getting a ride in the car. It rides nice and sounds great. But it's very nervous, or "twitchy" on the freeway. It's more built for the twisties than the straights; more for the short burst of fun than the long trips. But it lacks power in all areas. Gosh - even my automatic S4 felt fast by comparison.

Sure, it's cool as sin to own a Ferrari. But in my humble little opinion you don't get as much car for your money. Granted, you could say this when comparing a 928 with a Chevy truck, but in both cases I'd opt for a 928. There is no subsitute. You'll find out when that one is gone...

Tell him you changed your mind. The way you're agonizing over it on this thread tells me you'll regret it if you let it go. Just because he fell in love with it doesn't mean you have to sell it.

As good as you make this car sound, you're going to be out a lot more than $20K to get back to where you started.
