Not to hijack a thread - but - yes, the plastic pieces are about $4.50 each - from DR (and probably others too) - press the pin out - replace them - press the pin in. I just used opposing sockets and a vise.... Badda boom...
The same applies with heating with a micro torch to break the loctite to remove the coupling - I think I had a thread going earlier on this and a lead to the torch even......

The plastic bushing is pretty slick and smooth inside and I was able to get it on the ball with no lube but now wonder if it needs lube in there for best long term performance. Gunar
