Newby here.

I have no power to my right rear tail/parking light and side marker. Front right and all lefts work fine. New bulbs. I jumped power and they work fine but the lamp check unit is not fooled..

I want to check out the lamp check unit but not sure where it is and what it looks like.?? My search didn't turn up too much. Help!

edit. I have the fuse panel open and the quarterpanels off to get to all the wiring-anything else I might check while in there?

It is bolted to the passenger side map tray above the LH and EZF brains

Robert.. on my '84 it's at the outer end of the passenger
map shelf. The unit is a black package about the size
of a pack of cigarettes.

Bad solder.. all good now..

Taillights work fine now, but still getting a taillight warning.

However, it seems to have fixed the flashy brake light warning problem.
