I'm having some very cool 928 stickers made up for your rear windows - who wants one?

I agree with Dr. Bob. It is no surprise that, considering the number of 911 owners there are in the world, a few don't care for or are insecure about 928s. They are certainly not in the majority, since many P car owners may not even know what a 928 is. And they are certainly not alone, since so many people who drive other cars detest P cars in general. And I like 911s myself, having owned three of them, and starting with 356s long ago. I feel it is best to ignore idiots who make trouble for whatever reason. Too many 911 owners I know in PCA do NOT dislike 928s and they are my friends.

Yea, I think I have to agree with Bob. 911's aren't and have never been a threat to the 928. Besides, it's not the car, it's the asswipe behind the wheel. Some may take it offensive than see a joke and some may think it extends to the 997...which will roast many a 928 marshmallow!

Just my 2 cents too, so take it for what ever it is. I am not a believer anyway in displaying hate advertisement in any manner publicly. In private, I hate everybody!

It's a joke guys - started as an inside joke explained somewhere in this thread.

Those who want to play along can, those who do not want to, well.......

The Ford / Chevy / HEMI guys have a lot of fun ribben each other. So do I and a lot of 911 owners. It's all in good fun. Those who take things like this to seriousally I don't have time for anyway.

If every one were required to remove his tongue from his cheek when expressing himself, it would be a dull world in which we live.
Let the creativity flow, we can make apologies to the oversensitive as we go.

Stickers on cars are UGLY. No matter the contents, reason for display, size and/or location.

There are cases where they make sense (but they're still ugly), such as those on a racecar (funding) or the alarm sticker on my drivers side window (because the insurance company tells me to), or the license plates (because the law tells me to).

This particular example is not just ugly, it's .... well we've been down that road ... But, since no-one is going to put one on my car, and since I won't have to explain to anyone why it's "funny", I don't know why I'm even writing this.

In fact, don't bother telling me, I'll just STFU...

Sounds more like retaliation than a joke.

Joke or no joke, it definitely shows no class; especially coming from a Porsche owner.

No, I'm sorry...

Like I said, I don't care what it says, it's still ugly!

When I see a sticker on a car, I expect the owner to be the white-socks-and-black-shoes kind of guy...

It's just bad taste, that's all there is to it.

You catch on quick
Posting it originally was a joke.

Well, sorry you feel that way. I try to distance myself from anything that is "a porsche owner". I try not to be so snobby in my life. Oh my, I even have friends who own Corvette's. What does that say about me?
I'm afraid to even mention the Mustang guys.

Wow, you just alienated everyone who has a Rennlist and / or PCA sticker on their Porsche.

What's wrong with white socks & black shoes? What did my father ever do to you? Oh wait, those are sandals.

EVERYONE WHO WANTS ONE MAKE SURE YOU SEND ME A PM OR AN E-MAIL. THIS THREAD IS OVER.
