Default New Owner of a 928

Hello all after 6 months of looking I finally found a decent 89 928 S4, I picked it up last night. So here is my first 928 queston does anyone have the a change holder that sits just below the pocket on the drivers door that they would like to get rid off?

Actually, that reminds me I need to find mine and put it back in!! Removed the last time I poped off the door panel.

Otherwise just go here:

Default Coin holder

Shadow:

I think I would get in touch with Rixter here on the board (via private message) or at http://www.dcauto.com/contact.htm. I'll bet he has one.

Good luck and congrats on your new 928.

about those coin holders,

I am sometimes agrivated that they have a slot which i assume is for a half dollar, i guess those were still in fairly high circulation in the 80's, i just wish there was one for all the lonely pennies. The few i have end up in the ashtray. (pennies that is)

Try Rog100 or Rixter. One of them should have it.

The coin holders were designed for coins that aren't used in the US, apparently. Sizes are far enough from US coins that the little ears that hold the coins will readily break off.

So go ahead and replace the holder, but do it for the appearance and not for any lost function.

Default It takes 7 half dollar coins

I use mine all the time and keep it full. Finding half dollar coins is a pain, it was full but now I have only three in it.

Would that our problems were all as small as replacing the coin holder.....

Fill the quarter slot with Susan B. Anthony dollars for a real blast from the 80's.

Welcome

Welcome to the group. I hope that the coin holder is really the only thing on your list because that means that you can be driving rather than wrenching. Full description and pictures would be great.
