Found a guy whose soon to be wife wanted him to sell it for their up and coming wedding...I win!!! Will post some pics as soon as possible. Also thanks for the good reading and thanks ahead of time for the future help I am sure I will receive from all of you...Rob

" to sell it for their upcoming wedding..."
there's a marriage off to a shakey start.
G'luck KY944 (soon to be ...928)
p.s. as he let 'her' go maybe he let some other things
go, too. Maintenance, etc. CHECK it if not already
done; i.e., the usual things: TB/WP, (all)fluids, grounds,
belts, hoses, timing, filters, lights, etc

Better hope that KY don't refer to jelly (I went to grad school in Lexington).
Seriously, it sounds like a great car you're getting. Once you get it "right" it'll be wonderful.

Welcome to the "fun" side of things. Sorry to hear about the seller's problem but great for you. Looking forward to pictures and of course the obligatory run down of what has been done, and what remains to be done maintenance wise.

I asked him if he really loved her!! He said yes he did but almost started crying as he cashed the deposit I sent him. The way I figure it I can drive it for a few years and sell it back to him for the retainer...I finally drove a 928 last week and after reading the 951 versus the 928 thread...no contest. I don't care how fast you make the 944 go it feels nothing like the 928. I will post pics and price Sunday and start driving it to work on Monday...Thanks

oh, and Ky is Kentucky...I'm one of those educated hillbillies with all my teeth and shoes!!! And I don't plan on needing the KY often on repairs...I plan on doing the majority of repairs myself. The engine management will be my weak link...Rob
