Default Headlight Washer Adjustment

Is there any special way of adjusting these things??? The nozzle on the right side is pointed way out to left field , thus totally missing the headlight when used.

I've soaked it w/WD40 and shaked the $hit out of it multiple times, and it still does not want to move. My guess is its been this way for some time. It also looks like it is hard to access it from under the bumper, so no luck there...

Any other ideas out there?
Thanks
Parker

There is a special tool for this - never actually seen one but it is supposed to align the nozzles with the center of the headlamp lens.

The tip is broken on my right headlight washer. When I turn them on, that one shoots out a thick stream 10 feet in the air. It was pretty surprising when I tried them out for the first time.

Thanks Alan

I think I saw a 928 headlight washer adjustment tool at Home Depot the other day...How do you say wooden mallet in German...Das wood hoodwracker?

Anyway is just one of those small insignifigant things thats going to really bother me till I get it fixed.

Dozman got a point you should at least be able to turn it around and spray the SUV in front of you thats just misted your newly washed car...

Thanks

FWIW I know the 928 mechanic that worked at Holberts way back when,
He was the top dog on the 928 platform.
Every once in a while i can pick his brain for tidbits of info.
So we go fast riding on Sundays,
he is an old road racer dude, even in his 70s he is still one of the faster riders.

He likes Mustangs even has a vanity plate for his bike with a P51 theme.

Anyway he usually leads our rides and this last Sunday he showed up with this fancy tool.
He gave it to me since he knows that I am still in the service business.
So now I can aim those HL squirters.
And thats the rest of the story

Yeah, if Stan wasn't such a nice guy, I'd probably hate him a bit.

Seriously, he's probably the best guy to end up with this (top 5 anyway).

Yeah, this:https://www.928gt.com/ps-25976-30-to...et-aiming.aspx

Good luck on finding one though. I'm not sure anyone has them in stock right now.

This was on my list so I had a go after reading this.
I have one in left field as well. I tried a bit of WD40 and then some liquid silicone treadmill belt lube.
I tried hemostats but they were just not quite pointy enough to fit in the 2 holes; would have been perfect.
Managed to get it to move a bit with a hard platic flat tool I have but it bent it in the end. I was in fear of breaking off the nozzle tip anyway.
Put 2 hardened steel tools (a nail set and a special tool from electronics) in and held them together and got the jet to the middle.
That sucker is realy bound in there. I'll take it outside one day and see how close the sprays are now.
Hopefully the silicone will soak in a bit more.

make sure to remove the fill tube and tank inlet metal collars ,
as they will be fully corroded ,
and the tank will contain rusty washer mix that will stain the paint. you dont need to replace the collars ,.
just snug the hose clamps, the hose carries no pressure

that “tool” would be the same tool used for adjusting most any old school washer nozzles; one of the heftier sewing needles inserted into the nozzle and twist so that the nozzle points to the appropriate spot on the windshield.
And about that rusty sleeve in the washer fluid bottle neck: yes, removing the rusty sleeve will help alleviate micro-rust particles clogging the washer nozzles.
Placing one of these water filters inline of the water tube to the hood solves it as well.
In either case back flush the nozzles first
