My two boys ages 15 and 14 went to "Hell and Back" and neither complained (although do they fit better without shoes on).
As I can recall I have never had anyone actually complain about going for a ride in the 928 in ANY of the other three seats

Has anyone seen that Lexus convertible? That thing has trouble putting a seatbelt between the front and rear seats.

Britax makes a car seat that fits perfectly in the back of our cars. Had my 2 year old back there and he had a blast. Oh, the front seat will need to be moved up a little to allow for room to get the seat in and out as well as offer some leg room for the child.

After subjecting my 13 year old and 14 year old sons to a couple of hour-long trips in the back seat of a 944 they are looking forward to the roomy design of our 928 back seat.

My seven year old likes me to pick up him and his buddy in the car -- at that age it still is all about "my dad is cooler than yours"

The only people who won't use the back seats in my car are my parents, both of whom have mobility issues (and would also find the seat width somewhat restrictive)

I'll be looking for seats soon, so I'll post what I find at that time.
Actually, I have a rear facing seat that fits back there. I don't know the brand. It was given to us. Its a cheaper one that doesn't have that base part most seats today have. The problem, though, is that the front seat has to be all the way forward for it to fit. So no one else can ride in the front. With the seat that forward its like the baby is right next to you. May as well have it in the front seat. My problem is that I've got a 13 month old and a 3 month old. There's no way to get two car seats in there.

Perhaps somebody will be able to fit back there when I fix my power seats. For now, there is about 0 legroom.

I use the seats for my kids all the time. They are one of the many reasons I love my 928. I drove all 3 of my kids to school with it all last year (weather permitting). Their backpacks and cello fit in the hatchback. I go straight to work and can pick them up afterwards from karate, dance, etc.
Just this morning, one of my neighbors told me he is selling his Ferrari 355B because in 11 years he has only put 9000 miles on it. It is too impractical because it only has 2 seats.

I keep my seats folded down for the most part but I've put adults back there before.

I can squeeze my 16, 12 and 3 year old in the car with me. The wife has to stay home though.
