Keep looking they come up once in a while on Ebay and usually don't fetch much, I spent 2+ years looking to find a good one.

If you are good with fiber glass you might be able to repair I guess.

Fiberglass is an option but its difficult to determine how the warped headliner should actually fit since it wont hold its original shape. I was thinking of wetting or steaming it and then brace it into position letting it dry to its somewhat original shape. Its to bad there isnt an ABS plastic reproduction of an original.

I have th same problem along the windshield and by the hatch. I've been looking for a good non-sunroof headliner for a couple of years now with no luck. I'd be interested to know if you can figure out a way to fix the warping since the vinyl covering my headliner is still in good shape but the backing board warped.

Took me 2 years to find a good non-sunroof headliner. I kept mentioning it and eventually a friend pointed out an ebay auction that I hadn't seen. I should get a pic of the box, the guy must have pasted a couple square feet of stamps on there.

I need a brown one!
Had a minor windshield leak...elected to ignore.. now headliner is sagged. Kicker is its a Euro and has the popout mirror over the passenger sunshade. If I don't find a brown one I may just brace it back up for the winter and see what it looks like com spring...although that will probably be at the risk of having another problem somewhere else....

The one I picked up is brown leather, in excellent shape. I would consider trading for a black leather one in excellent shape to save myself the trouble of having to dye the leather.

I had my headliner sag near the windshield and found an easy way to fix it. i used clear rtv silicon. first i pulled the sun visor down to gain better access to the area that i needed, then took the clear silicon on top of the headliner between the headliner and the roof of the car. to hold in place and to act as a form of a clamp i used a piece of 1/2 pvc pipe i had lying around and jambed it between the headliner and the floor board with sufficaint bend to apply enough pressure to hold together. i left this in place over night, it did leave a spot on the headliner from the pipe but came out after a few days.

Send one off to Paul Champagne for evaluation. I am sure he could perform some magic in leather even!

Headliners are UNOBTANIUM. I have actually NEVER seen one in good shape. This means I've seen and bought many ... and every one of them was flawed. The sagging isn't that big an issue to me though everyone concentrates on that, but the sunroof surround is the big deal. That is in my opinion nearly impossible to remove successfully, I have tried and others who I have clearly warned have tried, and every single time the outcome is a ripped surround, making the liner in my opinion (for my car anyway) useless. The surround is stapled on, and once it is broken, impossible to staple back on. I have glued with little success. Nonsunroof liners are the rarest - especially Euro ones. Of course .... I have two, but I am planning on using them. Sounds like there are a few good people who have posted above they have good liners for sale. In my opinion if you're going to get a good one it will be from these guys, and even if it isn't perfect you will NOT find better.

Hi guys

Looking for a headliner for my sunroof car; black vinyl...sagging along windshield header so making noise, or is it able to be repaired?

I'm total novice, zero experience with the headliner...heard they can be challenging to remove and don't want to break mine....some suggestions greatly appreciated.

Anyone?
