Wheel well rubbery stuff
Hello.
I was going to have a look at my ob's stuck brakes some time ago when I noticed that some of the rubbery stuff in the wheel wells put on by the manufacturer was peeling off at some places.
I then took off the fenders to have a closer look.
After removing some of the gooey stuff and found some rust, I decided to remove all of it, all the way to the metal. It turns out that the rust was not as bad as it first seemed.
The rust was conatained to some of the welded seems. I have now removed the rust and am about to paint it up again. I was thinking of using a two component primer and then add some type of rubbery guard system in there again before painting it in some color to be decided at a later stage.
Have anyone here done something like this and have some points to give me before i start priming?
