Default Wounded shark

One day we were sitting around in the garage having a few beers and some laughs. There was a small bird of some type flying around in the place, randomly dropping bird doodie on the 928's. As a joke, my buddy fashioned a dart (seen stuck in the shark fin) out of tig welding rod and some masking tape. He put it in a 2 foot pc of steel brake line and tried to stop laughing long enough to catch a full breath so he could get a shot off with his makeshift blow gun. We choked on our beers when the thing missed the poor bird but stuck in the pine board wall a full 50 feet away !

Great pic Sterling - mag cover quality shot. I also checked out your website - and there is lot's of good info there - my only comment to it is with respect to the color of the type vs the background - tough to read for these middle age eyes!

We may have to wait until spring so we can get some good shots like the one above....
Great shot looks like an Excellence mag photo.

By now you are aware that they take forever to publish the articles. My 944S2 was shot over a year before the article was released and by that time I had sold the car. Looking forward to reading about your amazing shark.

Erkka, didn't see this till not, but... if original, this is actually how "Gulf Spec" (option C32) 928's are equipped. In other words it's most likely a car from Saudi Arabia / UAE / Qatar / Bahrain / Oman. I suspect also Iraq etc. had this spec. Another specific feature of C32 is option 150 (no catalytic); unless mistaken that's the same option which are on later cup-cars.
