My 1979 Oak Green on Cork ROW car. Yep, it's the dreaded 3-speed, and I love it. Delivered new in Dortmund in mid-1979. Spent it's first decade in Stuttgart, before an American citizen brought it back to the D.C. area. Picked it up three years ago for $4000, with 3 inches of original paperwork, German registration history, and maintenance records. Was my daily for one year, and is now a weekend cruiser. I am preparing it for paint and new Cork leather. It has been worth EVERY damned penny.

15 years of onwnership and every day was a pleasure to own this car.
Red license plate is for collectors cars in Germany. You can use it fo 6 cars older than 30 years and the cars must be in good shape.
