^ I think they meant "wheel on the outside of the curve". Seems to me, toe in at the inside wheel isn't going to help anything, especially since it's not the wheel loaded in the corner. Even if it was loaded, toe in would tend to cause over-steer. The braking force on the outside wheel is what causes the displacements to occur in the Weissach design, generating toe in on the loaded rear wheel for improved stability.

Then again, I didn't realize the "MacPherson principle" was in play...
