Hmmmmmmm, Is it the same car? I noticed another anomaly with the pictures...
In the Geneva Show Car the headrests are Pasha.
In the car in the snow, the headrests are possibly not Pasha or covered with white?
Help Mr. Wizard!
Many other details are correct: Looks like the Recaro C seats, clear glass, red paint, no passenger mirror, correct license plate (with 73 visible), even the hood appears to have the dent from Ferry's butt on it!
Interesting!

I guess I need to call the current owner, he'll know.

Well, this just goes on to show again how the factory usually just picked whatever was already available in the parts bin to make their special models.
It's funny though how poorly-integrated the early muffler looks below a heatshield designed for the later, larger ones.

A guru level garage door installer should be able to run your door track much closer to the ceiling.
They'll probably need to put in a different radius where the track curves from vertical to horizontal.
If you also have them install a wall mounted opener, you'll have much more room for the car, without as much fear of raising that lift right into the track.
As an added bonus, they are DC and run very quietly. Plus, mine came with a deadbolt that snaps into place once the door is down, helping prevent someone from prying the door open.
