First 500 km testdrive to Hannover! 13,1 l / 100 km and driving between ~ 130-140 km h. On the Autobahn on free passages 180-190 km/h

Car runs great! Only braking hard from high Speed makes the back of the car very nervous! Maybe some rubber in the Weissach axle worn out?

Cool interior on the race car. First time I've seen a window crank handle. Except it's not quite where it 'should' be. The early doors have a spot for them. Four bolt holes for the winder, a fifth for the handle in the door, plus a hole in the interior panel.

^^Brian (RL: olmann) mentioned on another thread: "16” phone dials off of an 86 944 turbo to bring the wheel out. Deeper dish and no spacers needed. They have to be from an 86 turbo only." T

should have been on the 928 from the git-go... what were they thinking?? as the 930 went out a different door at the factory?

That's awesome you got that past the DMV, here in the People's Republic I think that wouldn't have gotten through the PC filter.
