Yes, it's DEI's 050501 material- corrugated foil with 5mm of woven fiberglass and adhesive backing. So it's thinner than the original, but I couldn't salvage the original intact, so this seemed like the best second option. The 3.5 sq ft box should be enough for 4-5 cars' worth of motor mount shields.

Looks a little graunchy. This compressor hasn't run in anger since 1994. I was hoping it'll be ok. Seems to spin nicely.

Good news. My water pump I pulled off of my 81's engine is factory Porsche.
Bad news is it's original to the car 160K miles and it is still fine shockingly enough. Now I know why Greg Brown only uses factory pumps...
