Well this is a new old photo from back in 2002, I believe it was the first 928 to get the lightweight Carrera Wheels, it uses custom CNC billet upper control arms to achieve the right placement of the wheel in the wheel well and well it was also fitted with 993 Twin Turbo brakes front and rear 322 mm all round. It had just been resprayed and restored when this pic was taken.

I do not understand why people take the time to remove a caliper. prep and paint and then not take a few minutes to tape them up.
Painting the lines and bolts makes them look like it was done in billy bobs garage to me.

My nickles worth on that.

Hi Greg,

You should take that up with Porsche/Brembo...every new "Big Red" caliper I ever got direct from Porsche was painted over everything on the outside..even the flare nuts and crossover pipes. I always had to chip off the paint off the flare nuts (so the flare wrench would fit) to swap the crossover pipe from one end to the other for 928s (factory Big Reds come backwards for 928s).
