Greg,
Very nice looking, I could not help but notice the Kumho's are down to the wear bars, I run the same tire on my car, 255/40 17 on the front and 295/35 17 on the rear. They stick to the road but at least for me 6 to 7K miles and they are gone. My car is the third car in the line up same color as yours.

Hey Paul
I am actually running Nitto NT05's on F 17 7.5 235 and R 17 9 275.
Just came off of the track at Infineon Raceway. I would love to get 255's in the front.

Greg,
255's on the front make a huge difference in handling, turn in is so much sharper, understeer is reduced significantly, and braking is greatly improved. In my opinion the 928's greatest problem is that it is unde rtired on the front. My car with 17*9.5 60mm offset rims and the ride height lowered 15mm does not rub at the front fender edge. I did have to install an additional rack bumper to keep the tires from hitting the inner body.
A couple of photos showing the car and how much rubber is on the road

Your car looks fantastic! I am also wanting to upgrade my side mirrors. Great info on your wheels, I am getting new wheels after I am finished installing S4 suspension/brakes.
Out with the old......

Greg,
Thanks for the positive comment on my car. I chose not to go to an S4 suspension, instead I went to early front spindles and adapters to mount the S4Brembos and larger rotors. The rear brake upgrade was even easier, 4 washers per side, Brembo calipers and new rotors. I did add new brake lines figured after 26 years they were due for replacement. Big rubber and big brakes do wonders for my driving confidence. I have done a little work on the front with the addition of a splitter, and just changed the lights to inch H4 headlights. The car is kind of a work in progress.
